Officially opening its doors in the summer of 2025, weddings at Asher Adams in Salt Lake City are quickly gaining popularity among local couples. Having worked with so many of my couples in downtown Salt Lake City, and being familiar with the area, it is such a joy to see this brand-new venue come to life. While their first wedding hasn’t yet taken place, I recently worked with one of my couples on their engagement photos in this space. I’m sharing the details of their session, along with everything you need to know about weddings at Asher Adams in Salt Lake City, below.
Weddings at Asher Adams
Located in downtown Salt Lake City the recently remodeled Asher Adams was designed with style in mind. The building itself is a rehoused 1908 railroad station, complete with a brand-new eight-story addition. The design behind the Asher Adams Hotel SLC and combined use wedding venue was to reinvigorate the industrious spirit of the city’s origins but with a modern twist. Inside, you’ll find design and decor elements reminiscent of an old railroad. Including two sleek bars; one of which opens from the previous ticket booth and one overlooking the grand hall.
The wedding ceremony and reception spaces are located in the north wing of the ‘station’ as well as within the elevation of the new tower build. It’s sure to be an iconic wedding venue in Salt Lake City, with over 10,000 square feet available within the Wye Ballroom to plan a wedding with a grand-sized guest list. The Wye Ballroom offers stunning floor-to-ceiling windows to allow an abundance of natural light to flow into your space for a glowy wedding day experience. Conversely, if you are planning an intimate wedding, Asher Adams offers spaces for a more private event.
Total Guest Capacity
Weddings at Asher Adams are able to accommodate anywhere from 150 to 200 seated guests for your wedding day. If you have a large-sized guest list, Asher Adams Can accommodate up to 300 guests for a banquet-style wedding reception.
Catering a Wedding at Asher Adams
Asher Adams offers in-house catering through their team at Autograph Collection. The highly skilled culinary team will sit down with you ahead of your wedding to create a custom menu that is curated to your taste.
Asher Adams Wedding Photos
The grand hall and on-site bars at Asher Adams offer a stylishly unique take on wedding day photos. Design and decor elements evoke the essence of the old railway. However, the space is more akin to an editorial version of a modern museum. Checkered flooring, gold fixtures, mid-century modern furniture, and a vintage photo booth all lend themselves to the charm of your wedding photos. In fact, the session featured below showcases these unique details and features a couple who is celebrating their recent engagement.
Asher Adams Hotel SLC
Asher Adams is a Salt Lake City wedding venue that offers overnight accommodations. If you have guests attending your wedding from out of town, you will be delighted to know that in total the hotel offers 225 guest rooms and 13 specialty suites. Providing plenty of space to accommodate a wedding day guest list of any size. There are also four unique dining experiences on-site to offer your wedding guests a unique food & beverage experience during their stay.
