This beautiful Fall Log Haven Wedding in Salt Lake City was one for the books. If you have been following along for a while, you’ll know that I love Autumn for a variety of reasons. And one of those is how some deeper, moodier colors come into play. Salt Lake City has some gorgeous wedding venues, but Log Haven is absolutely perfect for a Fall Utah Wedding.

This wedding was a really special one for me. Of course, photographing weddings during COVID has been an adventure in itself. But it was an honor to document this couple as the groom has been a doctor on the frontlines the entire pandemic. I’m so glad I was able to document his beautiful wedding day and provide him with some joy after a long and very emotionally depleting year.

Log Haven is a gorgeous venue that is nestled away in Salt Lake City. Which, makes it perfect for accessibility and having a larger wedding like my couples. With easy accessibility, and the changing of summer into Fall, this wedding was stunning and had all the classic details I’d love to see. With minimalist and understated shoes, cufflinks, and other personal accessories it was very laid back and simple. Which, as you can see, does not have to mean boring.

The couple opted for a beautiful arch that played up the burnt orange fall colors which contrasts beautifully against Utah during fall. Of course, the greens during Fall are incredibly vivid in Utah. So this looked amazing against the arch which was full of playful colors like orange, reds, and light peaches. And of course, can’t forget the beautiful deep red contrast. And doesn’t my bride looks incredible?

I absolutely loved this wedding and the playful nature of the day. It was a laidback celebration of love that was a true testament as to why I love my job. I hope this inspires you for your own wedding.
