This was a very special Mountain Bridal Photos Session that we did in Orem, Utah. My couple wanted to have their first look and Formals Session in a place that was near and dear to them. And Utah is very special to them so we chose to have their session at Provo Canyon. Provo Canyon is full of beautiful lush greenery and surrounded by incredible mountains. Of course, they photograph and video beautifully.

My couple’s photo inspiration for their Mountain Bridal Photos

My couple actually got married in Portland and they flew me out to document their wedding.  So it’s been a wonderful experience seeing them in a variety of surroundings and getting to know them on a personal level. It’s one of the things I love most about my job, actually. Firstly, I love getting to know couples and witnessing them entering the next chapter of their life together.

My bride wore a floor length gown that swept the ground behind her beautifully and angelically. She wore a shorter veil that made it easy to move around. My groom wore a classic navy blue tux with a sweet little boutonnière. Their entire look was very classic and traditional. And of course, a beautiful bouquet to boot provided some pops of color to the session. We spent a few hours walking around and enjoying the scenery and simply marveling in how beautiful Provo Canyon is. It’s one of my favorite spots for a reason.

Final thoughts on this Mountain Bridal Photos Session

I love Provo Canyon and will always travel to do a session out here. It is perfect for couples that want sweeping vistas without having to hike (it’s all very accessible). And during the warmer months provides a lovely backdrop of greens and whimsical mountain views that are incredibly photogenic.
