The interior of the building features a marble staircase, gilded decor, and sleek stone walls. Views from this space are laced with historical significance, adding an air of reverence to the opulent venue. In total, there are 5 wedding venue spaces within the Utah State Capitol Building. Wedding venue spaces to choose from include the Rotunda, West Plaza, East Plaza, Hall of Governors, and the White Chapel. For outdoor wedding venue spaces at the Utah Capitol, you’ll be able to choose from the East or West Plaza. The West Plaza overlooks the manicured lawns of the building, with the backdrop of Salt Lake Valley off in the distance. Conversely, the East Plaza features surrounding ridgeline views of the Wasatch Range.
The remaining spaces at the venue, The Rotunda, Hall of Governors, and White Chapel, are located indoors. 4. River Bottoms Ranch
An indoor/outdoor wedding venue, River Bottoms Ranch is one of few exclusive-use luxury wedding venues in Utah. The venue evokes a tranquil experience with views of the valley, river, or sprawling scenery of Mount Timpaonogos surrounding the grounds.
There are 3 spaces within the outdoor grounds to host your wedding ceremony. These spaces include a clearing by the pond, in front of the double doors of the barn, or under the covered pavilion. Receptions take place at the white gambrel barn, an ultra-modern, luxurious, farmhouse-style reception space. It’s a blank canvas venue outfitted with 200 square feet of mortise & tenon timber embodying old-world craftsmanship. The key feature of weddings in the barn is, by far, the light. The barn is filled with clear pane windows that allow the space to be enveloped in a golden hue, adding a layer of warmth to your celebration.
River Bottoms Ranch does not provide in-house catering. However, you will be given a list of preferred caterers who are all familiar with the venue and carry the proper licenses required to serve guests throughout your wedding.

5. Magnolia Event Center
