Adventurous, well-traveled couples are some of my favorite people to work with. Today’s couple is no exception. Matt and Jorsia are truly an international pair. The two of them met in France. He is from the United States, and she in Chinese. This bride and groom absolutely love to travel, so a destination wedding was the perfect fit.

The two of them chose to be married at the Wahweap Overlook Marina surrounded by friends and family from all over the world. Each of their bridesmaids and groomsmen was from a different country. Guests came from locations like the Netherlands, Italy, the UK, and, of course, China. It was a beautiful day as the happy couple read their vows and exchanged rings surrounded by the stunning Arizona landscape.

We made a point to visit Antelope Canyon for a couples session close to the wedding. This was Matt and Jorsia’s second time visiting this part of Northern Arizona. The slot canyons there are incredible! There’s nowhere quite like it anywhere in the world. It’s breathtaking!

My favorite part of this wedding day was watching the blending of different cultures. The bride wore a red wedding dress for the reception. In Chinese culture, the color red symbolizes good luck and good fortune for the couple with the hope that it will bring lasting happiness for many years to come.
