I’ve been dying to share the stunning images from my most recent styled shoot. I was so lucky to work alongside the most talented team of wedding professionals that designed the content and made our shoot that much more unique.
Overlooking the Provo Valley near Sundance Resort, our location had the dreamiest light as the sun went down and all of this beautiful golden light filtered in. The floral arch, bouquet and centerpiece created by the incredibly talented Bushel and a Peck Floral were so gorgeous! I loved the pastel colors she chose for the florals. The purple, pink, yellow and orange flowers felt like spring without being too bright. They gave the feeling of wildflowers while still keeping a classic, timeless look. All of the florals made me feel like we had stepped inside our own secret garden.
I felt a little star struck getting to work with Rachael Ellen Events who served as our stylist. She specializes in destination and luxury events, and luxurious this was! She and her team created the simple, elegant tablescape and styled it perfectly. Seeing to every single detail, she made the day run smoothly and made this feel like a real celebration. The shoot was also put on by the incredible fine art film instructor, Connie Balluff.
The wedding cake by Lustr was one of my favorite details of the day. The two tiers looked white at first but I noticed they actually had a subtle lavender tint. The cake was simple, finished off with edible gold leaf and soft purple clematis. The invitation suite was created by Lettering by Grg who cater to the fine art bride with their bespoke wedding stationery. Everything felt special and not overdone.
Our bridal model, Kyla, was absolutely glowing in a beautiful ball gown by BHLDN. The dress had a sweetheart neckline with a ruched bodice and a dramatic skirt with voluminous layers of striped tulle. Kate Livingston provided hair and makeup, finishing off the bride’s beautiful look. The shoes the bride wore were her “something blue” for the day. They were a work of art all on their own. Not to be outdone, the groom looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo and bowtie from Perfectly Suited.
I’m so grateful for beautiful days like this to inspire and renew my creativity during a busy wedding season!
