Total Capacity

The glass house structure of this Moab, Utah wedding venue can accommodate up to 150 seated guests for your wedding reception.

The food and beverage experience for your wedding is not included as part of your overall venue rental fee. Your catering package, including any bar or beverage services, will need to be booked separately. Red Earth Venue in Moab allows couples who plan a wedding at their venue the flexibility to select the preferred caterer or bar trailer of their choice. The venue has a list of preferred vendors in each category, available on their website at this link. However, if you already have a vendor in mind and do not see them listed through the venue’s directory, you can still work with who you’ve selected, provided they have the proper insurance and licensing needed to serve and prepare food at Red Earth Moab.

Another vendor that requires strong consideration when planning your Red Earth Venue wedding in Moab is your florist. The glass setting of the venue provides views of the natural landscape in every direction, and the outdoor setting, nestled in the canyon, is awe-inspiring. You’ll need to work with an experienced Moab wedding florist who has familiarity with the venue and who understands how to enhance the setting without detracting from its luxurious seclusion. Having photographed several weddings at Red Earth Moab, I highly recommend Wild Earth Designs. Their creative and visionary designs are built around your budget, sourced locally, are sustainable, and can be custom curated to suit your wedding day vision

You’ll be happy to know that Red Earth Venue allows you to bring your four-legged fur baby to your wedding at no additional fee. In fact, it’s considered part of your wedding venue package. Your pup should be well-behaved and must be leashed, looked after, and picked up throughout the duration of your wedding. There are two stipulations for bringing your dog along. First, they are not permitted to dig at the venue or the surrounding area. If you have a dog with natural hunting instincts who loves to adventure by digging holes, it may be best to leave them at home. Second, you are only allowed to bring along one dog. If you’d like to bring another dog (or two!) to your wedding, an additional fee will be incurred for pups two and three, with a maximum of three dogs in attendance.

Pro Tip: Many couples love to have their fur baby present throughout their pre- and post-wedding ceremony portraits. As a Moab wedding photographer, I highly recommend asking a trusted friend or family member (preferably someone who is not in your wedding party) to attend portraits and look after your pup throughout the in-between moments. That way, your fuzzy fur baby can join the fun, while allowing you to be fully present for the moments they are not in front of the camera, without worry, concern, or interruptions

The venue does not require couples to work with a wedding planner. However, it is strongly preferred and recommended. The venue’s secluded location may require booked transportation for your guests, not to mention the other logistics that go on behind the scenes between your vendors (photographer, florist, entertainment, catering, etc). A skilled and experienced wedding planner can manage all of these aspects on your behalf, permitting you to be present, enjoying every moment of your wedding day in the company of your guests.

Yes! The venue only books one event (weddings or otherwise) per day. Their philosophy on weddings ensures that everyone has a gathering space to celebrate in a way that fortifies connections and stirs the soul. No tourists passing through, no hotel visitors checking in and out, no other weddings taking place on “the other side of the wall”. Privacy and lack of distractions are all part of their magic as a Moab wedding venue.

The Red Earth Venue in Moab Utah

Your rental of the venue begins with a fee of $5,500, with your final venue cost determined by your overall wedding day needs and the selection of any add-ons or inclusions. This fee does not yet include your catering package (food or bar), planner, photography, videography, florist, or hair and makeup team. It’s important to keep these additional vendors in mind when putting together your overall wedding budget.

Your venue rental covers 12 full hours on your wedding day, beginning at 10 am and ending at 10 pm. This is more than enough time for your florist to arrive and decorate, and your catering team to access the venue and begin their prep. If you happen to need a longer window of time for your wedding, Red Earth Venue allows couples to add on an hour, for an additional fee.
