Are you searching for a Provo City Center Temple wedding photographer? Growing up LDS, I understand the significance of a temple sealing. Now, as an LDS wedding photographer, my experiences have allowed me to step inside the stories of couples celebrating at Provo City Center Temple and beyond. If you are planning a temple sealing and ring exchange or reception to follow, I’m sharing details on photography for temple weddings. Keep reading for more!

The Moments Before You Arrive

From experience, we know that temple sealings can run true to time, or very late, with not much room in between either scenario. We arrive at the grounds of your temple 20 minutes prior to the expected end time of your sealing. This allows us to capture photos of the grounds and of your family members while they are waiting patiently. It also allows us to prepare for your grand exit after your sealing.

When the Doors of Your Temple Swing Open

The very second the doors of Provo City Center Temple swing open, your wedding photographer will be present to capture it all. This is the big reveal that you and your family have waited for. The joy felt during this time is unmistakable, and my team and I are present to memorialize it for you. The planning of this moment is completely up to you, and we will discuss it when you book your temple wedding photography package. Some couples like to have the members of their wedding party line up on either side of their exit, while others prefer these photos to include just the two of them. If you are unsure of how you’d like this moment to unfold, we are more than happy to lend you our expertise and make suggestions for what creates the most memorable wedding portraits.

Our Approach to Group Photos With Your Family

Your family has been excited for your arrival! They can’t wait to shower you with hugs, hellos, and well-wishes the moment you exit those doors. As a Provo City Center Temple wedding photographer, I fully understand the significance of this moment, just after your sealing, with all of your friends and family in attendance. My team and I have a specialized approach to capturing group photos upon your exit.

First, we begin with the largest group of people, and work our way down. This will allow any family elders and the little ones to jump in front of the camera and then head out to your reception. Next, it’s time for moments spent with your immediate family, such as your parents, siblings, and any cherished cousins. Finally, the members of your wedding party, who have dressed the part and are patiently waiting with florals in hand, will spend time with each of you, capturing a variety of photos. Our approach to LDS group wedding photos will allow you time with everyone, until there is no one left but just the two of you.

Exploring the Grounds of Your Temple as Newlyweds

Once your family has departed for your reception, it’s time to spend a few quiet moments together as newlyweds. We will explore the grounds of your temple for wedding photos filled with the backdrop of the lush landscape surrounding us. If your sealing will be held at Provo City Center Temple, we also recommend photos by the stunning fountain on the grounds. As your wedding photographer, I can also recommend additional locations on the temple grounds or surrounding the temple, that will allow us the space needed for a tranquil wedding photography experience that allows you to focus on each other.

Your Ring Exchange and Wedding Reception

Many LDS couples plan a ring exchange or wedding reception following their temple sealing. Once we have wrapped the photography experience on the grounds of your temple, we will come along to the next location to capture your celebration! The first dance as a married couple, the toasts and speeches made in your honor, and everyone you love, gathered together, celebrating your union. Our packages include coverage that captures the magic of it all until your grand exit, including the fun moments spent on the dance floor.
